Hi I’m Laura, founder of Leap in2 Learning.
Leap in2 Learning is a private tutoring company with your child’s success at the heart of all that we do.
Offering 1-2-1, 1-2-2 and small group tuition, both online and in person, my team and I work with your child to benefit their education. Perhaps you’re home tutoring and need a helping hand. Maybe your child needs a little more attention in a certain subject matter than they can receive in a busy school classroom. There are many reasons why you may wish to employ a tutor which is why we like to get to know your personal needs.
I began my career as a classroom teacher and quickly fell in love with the role. However, I soon realised I truly loved it when I had the opportunity to work 1-2-1 and in small groups of children. Having those moments with young people and seeing them shine and their confidence grow in front of my very eyes as they were learning was such a privilege that I decided to make it my full time career. Since then I have personally completed over 1500 hours of 1-2-1 private tuition, working with some fantastic families and word has quickly spread about our services. The testimonials and clients that have been referred to me speaks volumes. I say this so that you have a feeling of how important your child’s education is to me.
After building up a lengthy waiting list, and not wanting any child to miss out on Leap In2 Learning, I decided to expand. I am now working with a team of qualified, experienced teachers who are just as passionate about our services as I am. Leap in2 Learning is growing!
On a personal note…
I am a busy wife and mummy to two young children who are my absolute inspiration in life. Nicky, my son, is 6 and full of questions about the world, cannot sit still for more than 3 seconds and also provides a constant stream of snack requests! Then there is my 3 year old daughter Hope who has a personality as wild as her crazy curly hair and lives life fiercely – she keeps me on my toes that’s for sure.
Over the past few months I have seen how much Leap in2 Learning has benefited so many families and continue to provide high quality, engaging tuition to my students as well as support my growing team in doing the same. I’ve seen first hand the impact private tuition can have and it’s so much more than just hitting the next ‘target’. This is about setting your child up for future success and giving them the confidence to say ‘I can do it’ and then doing it for years to come!
I’m also passionate about ensuring my tutors know they are valued and important members of my team and collaborating alongside them to share training, ideas and good practice to succeed alongside our students. Your child’s success is our success.
