Rose

Rose has been working in education for 9 Years. In the early years of her career she was working with children with additional needs within Key Stage 1 (Aged 4-8 years). Recently Rose works full-time teaching all age groups from Reception to Year 6. Rose has a passion for supporting children’s mental wellbeing alongside their academic levels. Alongside teaching all Primary ages, Rose assesses reading levels for all years and runs interventions for children in Year 5 and 6 as they prepare for their SATs and secondary school. Rose has a comprehensive understanding of the development of all year groups and the learning journey that takes place for children throughout school.

Rose’s passion is for finding ways to individually motivate children’s learning and creating a personalised learning experience so that they are able to get the most out of their education (popular examples include, relay spellings, water gun phonics and splat arithmetic). Rose enjoys working closely with parents/carers to create an open dialogue, to aid the child in their academic pathway. Rose has previously worked as a tutor and enjoys the 1:1 element and seeing the individual child’s progression, as well as positive feedback from the children’s school.
