Michelle

Michelle is a qualified primary school teacher of nearly twenty years with most of her teaching experience with pupils aged 4 to 7. Michelle has taught in Harrogate, Leeds and Bradford. She has a wealth of knowledge across all curriculum areas, especially Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths in Year One, Year Two and Reception. Currently a local supply teacher across all year groups (more so, Years 3, 4, 5 & 6), Michelle is used to establishing relationships and making accurate assessments in a short time period. Michelle thrives on the fact that she goes above and beyond for every pupil; making learning personalised, breaking it into small steps whilst also building solid foundations, and making connections. Seeing the light bulb moments and increased confidence in children has always been a career highlight.

In Michelle’s spare time (not that she gets any with a pre-schooler in tow!) she enjoys going to the cinema and watching musical theatre. She also likes to visit places around the world and one at the top of her list is an African Savannah!
